Communications Manager Technology

About the role

As the Communications Manager Technology you will shape and deliver internal and external communication strategies for the technology division of a global logistics leader. Working closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams, you will translate complex tech topics into compelling stories that engage employees and enhance the company’s reputation worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communication initiatives that align employees with business priorities, vision and strategy.
• Create engaging content for intranet, newsletters, press releases, thought‑leadership pieces and social media.
• Manage the divisional intranet presence, ensuring timely and impactful information.
• Support internal engagement events such as town‑halls, change programmes and transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with media representatives and assist global media relations.
• Collaborate with IT, Marketing, HR, Sales and business leaders to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
• Monitor industry trends, contribute to reputation management and support crisis communication when required.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in corporate communications, public or media relations.
• Proven track record managing both internal and external communication activities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to adapt messages for diverse audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across functions and cultures.
• Fluent English; German language skills and logistics experience are a plus.
