Community Manager – Build and Engage User Communities

About the role

As a Community Manager at Air Apps you will build, grow and engage our global user community across forums, social media and user groups. You will foster a positive, inclusive environment, facilitate discussions and create strategies that keep users connected to our AI‑powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner. The position is fully onsite in Lisbon with relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies to expand and support user communities.
• Manage and moderate forums, social media groups and discussion platforms.
• Respond to user questions, moderate conversations and encourage positive interactions.
• Organise and promote community events, webinars and Q&A sessions.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and support teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Monitor and analyse community metrics to optimise engagement tactics.
• Identify and activate brand advocates, ambassadors and super‑users.
• Maintain community guidelines and policies to ensure a safe, welcoming space.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in community management, social media management or customer engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire users.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive situations, mediate conflicts and enforce guidelines.
• Experience planning and executing community‑driven events or initiatives.
• Passion for building meaningful relationships and fostering an inclusive community.
