Compliance Officer – Zurich (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

G-20 Group is seeking a Compliance Officer to lead and maintain its compliance framework across multiple regulated entities. The role is based in Zurich and can be taken as full‑time or part‑time. You will act as the primary compliance reference, liaise with senior leadership and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the group‑wide compliance framework, including AML/CFT policies, conflict‑of‑interest policies, outsourcing governance and record‑keeping standards.
• Serve as the main compliance point of contact for regulated entities in Switzerland, BVI and Cayman.
• Design and execute the annual compliance monitoring and testing plan across entities.
• Present at board meetings and prepare annual compliance reports for the Board.
• Manage third‑party compliance relationships.
• Oversee Swiss regulatory obligations (VQF membership, FINMA reporting, AML framework, FinSA compliance).
• Act as designated Compliance Officer/MLRO for BVI entities, manage FSC relationship and maintain AML policies, risk assessments and transaction‑monitoring parameters.
• Ensure KYC/KYB processes, FATF Travel Rule compliance and sanctions screening.
• Advise on compliance implications of new products, counter‑party relationships and jurisdictional expansions.
• Review material contracts for regulatory risk and support cybersecurity governance as part of the compliance framework.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Law, Business or a related field from a leading university.
• Minimum 4 years of compliance experience within regulated financial entities.
• In‑depth knowledge of Swiss (FINMA/VQF), BVI (FSC) and Cayman regulatory environments.
• Proven experience with AML/KYC, client risk profiling, sanctions screening and regulatory reporting.
