Content Moderation Specialist – Remote (Switzerland)

About the role

We are looking for a Content Moderation Specialist to join a fast‑growing digital platform. Based in Switzerland and working fully remotely, you will help keep the online environment safe, compliant and trustworthy by reviewing large volumes of user‑generated content.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess user‑generated posts, comments and media against internal safety standards, community guidelines and legal requirements.
• Identify, flag and report content that is harmful, misleading, or otherwise violates platform policies.
• Apply moderation rules consistently, maintaining high accuracy and fairness in every decision.
• Escalate complex, sensitive or ambiguous cases to senior moderators or specialised policy teams.
• Meet defined productivity and quality targets in a high‑volume moderation environment.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive user data.
• Provide feedback to improve moderation processes and tools.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when evaluating potentially harmful content.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in trust & safety, compliance, moderation or a related field (preferred).
• Basic understanding of moderation workflows, tools and community guidelines.
• Awareness of cultural contexts that affect content interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to document decisions clearly and consistently.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, policy‑driven environment.
