Country People & Culture & Site Manager – Switzerland

About the role

The Country People & Culture (P&C) and Site Manager for Switzerland will lead all HR‑related activities and oversee daily site operations at Melexis' Bevaix location and its EPFL Outpost. Reporting to the Regional P&C leader for Europe and dotted‑line to the VP of Site Operations, you will ensure that people strategy and site performance align with global standards while meeting Swiss legal and cultural requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Global Site Operations roadmap locally, adapting mandates to Swiss regulations and technical needs.
• Act as the primary internal and external representative for the Bevaix site, fostering a safe, collaborative environment.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment to retirement—for approximately 75 staff members.
• Support team leaders with P&C policies, HRIS navigation, and leadership coaching.
• Execute the global P&C calendar, ensuring alignment with local needs and driving engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with P&C colleagues in other countries to resolve cross‑border people issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management and site operations, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labour law and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence senior leadership.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS tools and employee data management.
• Familiarity with implementing global HR calendars and processes.
• Understanding of site safety, facilities, and operational standards.
