About the role
This internship is based in the Office of the Director of the UN Library and Archives Geneva, offering exposure to knowledge management, communications, cultural diplomacy and outreach within an intergovernmental environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the UNOG Cultural Activities Committee and implement cultural activities at UN Geneva.
- Assist in planning and executing VIP visits to the UN Library and Archives, including research, note‑writing and follow‑up.
- Contribute to outreach and communication efforts such as newsletter preparation, multimedia production and social‑media engagement.
- Help with general administration and management of the UN Library and Archives.
Required profile
- Enrolled in or have completed a graduate programme, or be in the final year of a bachelor’s degree.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of French or another UN language is an advantage.
Required skills
- Experience with audio‑visual content production.
- Ability to draft newsletter articles and social‑media posts.
