Delivery Consultant - Security, Risk and Compliance

About the role

AWS Professional Services is looking for a Delivery Consultant to join its security, risk and compliance practice. The role works closely with customers to design, implement and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. It is a senior position in the security consulting team, with four out of five working days dedicated to customer projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Act as a trusted security advisor to executives and technical teams, engaging with customers and internal stakeholders
• Promote Amazon's culture of security and maintain the highest security standards in all interactions with customers, partners, peers and internal stakeholders
• Lead complex projects, manage customer stakeholders and ensure the secure operation of large teams spread across different work streams

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on security experience in at least two of: Cloud Security, Application Security (security SDLC, threat modeling, code review), Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Data Protection, Incident Response
• Experience implementing enterprise security solutions such as DLP, WAF and SIEM
• Experience in cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks and operating systems
• Strategic thinking and decision-making in ambiguous environments

Required skills

• Cloud security and security architecture
• Application security, IAM, network security and incident response
• Preferred: AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP and similar certifications
• Preferred: experience with complex cloud transformation projects
