Design Engineer – Aircraft Interiors

About the role

Join a leading aircraft manufacturer and help shape the future of cabin design. As a Design Engineer for Aircraft Interiors you will create innovative, lightweight solutions for current and upcoming aircraft models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interior components and structural solutions for PC‑24, PC‑12 and future products.
• Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings and Bills of Materials using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Develop concepts, detailed designs and engineering modifications for new and legacy aircraft interiors.
• Integrate mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and installation requirements.
• Support certification activities, structural and flammability substantiation, and CS‑23 compliance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Certification and Configuration Management to implement design changes and transfer projects into production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 2‑5 years of experience in aircraft interiors, aerospace structures, lightweight design or a related engineering field.
• Understanding of aircraft certification, configuration control and system integration within complex product environments.
• Motivated, hands‑on attitude with a structured, quality‑focused approach.
• Fluent English (C1); German (B2) is a strong advantage.
