Digital Marketing SEO & Growth Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic digital marketer to lead SEO and growth initiatives for our innovative freelance marketplace. You will own the organic strategy, work closely with founders and cross‑functional teams, and help scale user acquisition for a fast‑moving startup.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to boost organic visibility and traffic.
• Conduct keyword research and implement on‑page and off‑page optimization.
• Identify, negotiate, and secure high‑quality backlink opportunities.
• Monitor, analyze, and report SEO performance metrics.
• Collaborate with content creators to optimize existing and new content for search engines.
• Support broader growth marketing campaigns, including user acquisition and retention.
• Assist with technical SEO improvements across web properties.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and algorithm changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO, including keyword research, content optimization, and link building.
• Familiarity with major SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
• Understanding of technical SEO concepts like site structure, page speed, and schema markup.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced startup environment.
