Team Lead Content & Social Media Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a Team Lead Content & Social Media Strategy to shape the organic social presence of an established international consumer brand. Based in Switzerland, you will combine strategic thinking, creative direction and data‑driven decision‑making to grow awareness, engagement and loyal communities, with a primary focus on Instagram.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage organic social media channels, especially Instagram.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, community and follower growth.
• Build and maintain an editorial calendar, coordinating scheduling, publishing and optimisation across platforms.
• Define content formats, messaging, creative approaches and publishing tactics for each channel.
• Monitor community engagement, respond to comments and coordinate with internal teams to address needs.
• Analyse performance, produce regular reports with actionable insights and support paid amplification when relevant.
• Collaborate with Brand Management, Marketing, Creative, CRM and e‑commerce teams to ensure consistent brand communication.
• Lead, mentor and support the content and social media team, setting goals, priorities and efficient workflows.
• Support UGC and influencer marketing initiatives and stay ahead of platform trends and emerging formats.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mid‑to‑senior social media management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a creative team.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience turning data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent understanding of Instagram and organic growth tactics.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, brand, creative, CRM and e‑commerce teams.
