Director, Business & Supply Continuity

About the role

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes division is seeking a senior leader to own and execute the Enterprise Risk Management and Business & Supply Continuity strategy for its global supply chain. This role reports directly to senior leadership and influences how the organization anticipates, prepares for, and responds to supply disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global Business & Supply Continuity strategy aligned with supply chain priorities and enterprise risk expectations.
• Design and deploy standardized continuity frameworks, governance structures, and playbooks across manufacturing, distribution, suppliers, and planning functions.
• Partner with regional and functional supply‑chain leaders to identify critical risks, conduct impact analyses, and define mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Oversee crisis preparedness, scenario planning, and response coordination to ensure continuity of supply during disruptions.
• Integrate continuity and resilience requirements into broader supply‑chain transformation initiatives, including network redesign, digital enablement, and operating‑model changes.
• Establish metrics, reporting, and executive‑level insights to monitor readiness, resilience performance, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Senior global experience in enterprise risk management or supply‑chain continuity.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams across quality, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, IT, and commercial functions.
• Strong stakeholder influence and governance experience at the executive level.
