Director of Investments / Partner – LBO & Growth Equity

About the role

This is a senior leadership position at a high‑conviction private equity firm. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will set the investment agenda, chair deal reviews and own transactions from thesis to completion, while building the portfolio and shaping the firm’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deal origination and execution across core sectors.
• Set and drive the firm’s investment agenda.
• Chair investment committee and deal review meetings.
• Take full ownership of transactions from sourcing to closing.
• Build and manage a high‑performing investment team.
• Contribute to firm strategy and partnership development.

Required profile

• Current or recent Partner, Director or Head of Investment at a PE, growth‑equity or institutional investment platform.
• Senior M&A professional with 10‑12+ years leading complex transactions.
• Heads of Corporate Development, Chief Strategy Officers or C‑suite executives from relevant industries.
• Sector heads at mid‑market or large‑cap PE firms seeking an entrepreneurial platform.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in investments or M&A with a proven track record of sourcing, structuring and closing deals.
