Director of Operations and Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations and Supply Chain to lead demand planning, ERP management and the overall supply chain for our micro‑fluidic cooling solutions. The role is based onsite at our EPFL Campus location in St‑Sulpice, Switzerland and will work closely with account management, sales, finance and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Align strategy across account management, sales, finance, machine vendors, contract manufacturers and executive leadership, including Capex governance for manufacturing expansion.
• Own end‑to‑end ERP architecture, from purchase‑order receipt through order acknowledgement, production scheduling, shipment, invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Evaluate the suitability of the current Odoo ERP system and lead any migration to a new platform.
• Manage RMA processes, inventory levels and working‑capital considerations in partnership with the CFO.
• Build and lead the internal supply‑chain team, establishing logistics, packaging and dual‑sourcing vendor relationships.
• Ensure trade‑compliance and customer‑specific requirements while selecting host facilities and overseeing procurement.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing operations, demand planning or supply chain.
• Background in hardware, semiconductor, electronics or precision‑manufacturing, preferably within data‑centre supply chains.
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment and build a supply‑chain organisation from the ground up.
