Division Controller

About the role

As a Division Controller you will be responsible for the financial stewardship of the division, ensuring accurate reporting, driving process improvements and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee balance sheet, income statement, cash‑flow and KPI reporting for actuals and forecasts.
• Lead month‑end closing, reconcile management and IFRS statements and prepare reports and presentations.
• Manage mid‑term planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial controlling processes aligned with divisional strategy.
• Collaborate with liquidity managers to incorporate cash considerations into planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements, build new analytical models and reporting tools.
• Support divisional management with decision‑making and present complex financial concepts to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, self‑driven attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience with IFRS (especially IFRS 9), derivatives, budgeting, forecasting and closing processes.
• Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science or related field; Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
