Drone Service Technician – On‑site in Münster

About the role

Jedsy is expanding its advanced drone logistics network and needs a dedicated Drone Service Technician for its new Münster location. You will learn to install, maintain, and repair medical delivery drones and their associated mailboxes, ensuring reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on delivery drones.
• Install new mailboxes and replace batteries as required.
• Store, charge, and transport drones for operational readiness.
• Drive in adverse weather to deliver blood samples when drones cannot fly.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and the operations centre regarding drone issues.
• Participate in emergency response and coordinate with local authorities.
• Mentor future technicians and support the launch of new Jedsy sites across Europe.
• Travel to the Malawi office 2–3 times per year for training.

Required profile

• EU citizenship.
• Several years of hands‑on service or mechanical experience (e.g., automotive mechatronics, elevator, HVAC, wind‑turbine, telecom field service, medical devices).
• Fluent in both English and German.
• Structured, organized, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
