About the role
We are expanding our e‑Bike Systems Engineering team in Cham, Switzerland and are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join immediately. You will focus on developing the Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) firmware that powers the next generation of e‑bikes, collaborating closely with hardware and application teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, test and maintain HMI firmware throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and integrate communication protocols (CAN, BLE, ANT+) that connect the bike to retailer and rider applications.
- Manage the main code repository, coordinating contributions from internal and external developers.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on field issues and provide corrective updates.
- Create automated unit and integration test suites.
- Document design decisions and maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience writing and debugging embedded drivers, modules and applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
