EMEA Regional Procurement Lead

About the role

CSL is seeking an experienced procurement professional to serve as the EMEA Regional Procurement Lead. In this strategic position you will partner with Commercial leadership across EMEA, especially the DACH region, translating business priorities into sourcing and category strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted procurement business partner to Commercial leadership, identifying sourcing opportunities and developing regional category strategies.
• Lead complex end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiations and contract execution.
• Analyze spend, market intelligence and supplier landscapes to drive cost optimisation, value creation and risk management.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, ensuring performance, governance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Legal and other functions to provide procurement expertise.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management, preferably in a multinational, matrixed environment.
• Strong background in indirect and/or Commercial procurement categories such as Marketing Services, Market Research, Data & Analytics or Professional Services.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life‑sciences industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead complex sourcing projects and negotiate commercial contracts delivering measurable value.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with confidence to influence senior leaders across functions and cultures.
