Employee Water Systems Assembly (m/f/d)

About the role

Bucher Leichtbau AG is looking for an employee for its final assembly line of water systems in the Zurich economic area. The work covers general assembly, testing and, after training, supporting the engineering department in developing new products.

Key responsibilities

• General assembly according to drawings, work instructions and checklists, including pre-assembly of water system components and final assembly of complete water systems in galleys
• Various adhesive work and maintenance of machines and tools
• Inspection of finished products using checklists, operation plans or ATP/ATR
• Assembly of various galleys or other products within production
• Water system tests (pressure, flow and differential measurements) and recording results in test reports
• After a training period, supporting the engineering department in the development of new products
• Deputising for colleagues within the department and, in exceptional cases, within the entire Bucher Group

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a plumber, refrigeration engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer or polymechanic, with several years of professional experience in one of these fields
• Interest in learning new things
• Experience in assembly
• Precise, clean working style; high level of self-motivation, ability to work under pressure and in a team

Required skills

• Good spoken and written German
• English skills
