Event Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Event Manager to coordinate all phases of property events in Zurich. You will work closely with sales, property departments and customers to ensure a seamless experience from pre‑event planning through execution and post‑event follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare event documentation and manage logistics for average‑complexity events.
• Coordinate with sales, property staff and customers to ensure consistent, high‑level service.
• Oversee group room blocks, meeting space allocation and billing accuracy.
• Act as the primary liaison between field salespeople and customers throughout the event lifecycle.
• Identify operational challenges and develop alternative solutions in collaboration with property staff.
• Participate in site inspections and support the sales process as needed.
• Gather feedback from property departments to continuously improve the event planning experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of event‑management experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• German language proficiency and a valid CH/EU passport.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
