About the role
The Executive Assistant & Information Management Officer supports the Office of the Director‑General (ODG) at the International Committee of the Red Cross. The role combines high‑level administrative assistance with responsibility for managing information flows and improving related processes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and provide logistical, administrative and technical support for Directorate and Platform for Organization and Management (POM) meetings.
- Prepare, circulate and ensure compliance of meeting documents with templates and layout standards.
- Draft, circulate and archive concise minutes and summary documents; track follow‑up actions and update planning calendars.
- Liaise with the Governance Secretariat, Internal Audit and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Manage Directorate and Governance submissions (CA/A/ComAudit) and support information‑management initiatives.
- Review operating practices, propose improvements and adapt to new tools and processes.
Required profile
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Comfortable working under pressure and delivering accurate results.
