External Auditor (H/F/X)

About the role

We are seeking an External Auditor to join a dynamic team in Geneva within a trading‑industry company. The role involves conducting financial audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic recommendations to improve financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead external financial audits and verify adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Analyse financial statements, identify risk areas, and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather accurate data for reporting.
• Stay current with industry standards and emerging regulations, applying them to audit practices.
• Offer strategic advice to mitigate identified risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external auditing, preferably within the trading or commodities sector.
• Fluent in French and English with strong communication abilities.
• Holding or pursuing a Swiss‑CPA, ACCA, or French CPA qualification.
• Demonstrated capability to analyse complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
