About the role

Lead Financial Auditor – Financial Processes at MSC will conduct comprehensive financial audits, detect fraud, and support internal controls within a global shipping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough financial audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and MSC internal policies.
• Investigate potential financial fraud, irregularities, and discrepancies.
• Analyze financial data and transactions using SAP to identify and prevent fraudulent activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement effective fraud‑prevention measures.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Provide recommendations to improve internal controls and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial auditing, preferably with a focus on fraud or forensic accounting.
• Experience in the shipping industry is highly desirable.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French or Spanish is a plus.
• EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit (B or C) required.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP and other financial software.
• Ability to work with large data sets.
