EYFS Teacher (Early Years) – 80% Position

About the role

La Côte International School is seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher to deliver high‑quality learning, development and care for EYFS children (ages 3‑5) on an 80% contract from January 2027 to June 2028 (renewable). The role is based onsite in Aubonne, Switzerland, within a vibrant international community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of learning, development and care, meeting individual needs and interests of each child.
• Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of the EYFS curriculum.
• Select and manage classroom resources efficiently to support effective curriculum delivery.
• Build strong partnerships with parents to ensure children’s needs are met.
• Provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment that enables children to reach their potential.
• Contribute to trips, excursions, field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Engage in professional development and staff training meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor in Education, PGCE or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience, preferably in an international setting.
• Fluency in French is an advantage.
• Organised, proactive, excellent communicator and team player.
• Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
• Valid work permit and clear criminal record.
