Filtration Module Product Owner

About the role

As a Filtration Module Product Owner at Climeworks you will lead the development of innovative sorbent modules from early research stages through to market launch, ensuring they meet performance, manufacturability and scalability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own product development from TRL3 to TRL6, balancing requirements, performance and cost.
• Manage lifecycle of modules from TRL6 through launch, service and end‑of‑life.
• Coordinate validation, industrialisation and serial production activities.
• Collaborate with internal technology, development and operations teams as well as external suppliers and partners.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing and continuous improvement of module performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in product development, mechanical design or design engineering.
• Proven track record of leading projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and passion for sustainable technologies.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel up to 10 %.

• Material selection expertise.
• Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA).
• Design for Maintainability (DfM).
• Design for the Environment (DfE).
• Hands‑on experience with prototype fabrication and testing.
