Mechanical Design Engineer – High-Volume Production

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of innovative products manufactured at scale. You will be involved in the full product lifecycle, from concept generation to industrialisation, working in a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for high‑volume production.
• Create 3D models and production‑ready drawings using modern CAD tools.
• Support prototype builds, testing activities and technical evaluations.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality and cross‑functional teams to ensure DFM/DFA best practices.
• Analyse technical challenges and drive continuous product and process improvements.
• Contribute to efficient industrialisation and product cost optimisation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of injection‑moulded parts, materials and tooling processes.
• Experience working in mass‑production environments.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo or CATIA.
• Hands‑on, proactive approach to engineering challenges.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or a similar field.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
