Finance Coordinator – Temporary (until 31 Dec 2026)

About the role

The European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) seeks a Finance Coordinator for its Lugano office. This temporary position, running until 31 December 2026, will support the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including processing financial transactions, payments, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with the monthly closing process and prepare supporting documentation.
• Handle reimbursement and credit‑card payment procedures.
• Support financial data analysis and reporting activities.
• Maintain organized archives of both paper‑based and electronic accounting and administrative documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee accuracy and timeliness of financial tasks.
• Provide assistance in facility management as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Finance and Accounting Specialist – Swiss Certification.
• Previous experience in accounting and controlling functions.
• Experience with taxation, especially foreign VAT and cross‑border tax matters, is a plus.
• Operations experience is a plus.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
