Finance Operations Specialist

About the role

Sparta is looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to ensure a seamless onboarding and ongoing experience for employees across multiple jurisdictions. You will be the central point for payroll, equity, and travel workflows, making sure that compensation, equity grants, and travel arrangements are accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly payroll with local providers in six countries, verify calculations, and forecast cash needs for treasury.
• Maintain employee profiles in finance systems to ensure data integrity from input to reporting.
• Manage the equity management platform, reconcile it with the cap table and ERP, and support legal and finance on documentation and accounting entries.
• Handle employee inquiries on payslips, equity grants, and travel logistics with speed and accuracy.
• Partner with the Head of Accounting, Senior Accountant, and local payroll providers to drive operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for responding to employee questions.
• Experience handling payroll, equity, or related finance operations in an international environment.
