Financial Accountant – IFRS and Audit Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join the finance department of a large industrial company in Geneva. This permanent, full‑time position involves managing a wide range of accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements in line with IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes according to IFRS.
• Review financial data, perform reconciliations and maintain reliable accounting records.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate with stakeholders to support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, reporting tools and internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams on accounting and reporting matters.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international or industrial environment.
• Experience in a Big Four firm or audit environment is a strong advantage.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting principles.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a structured, demanding setting.
• Fluent in English and French.
