Financial Controller – F1 Financial Regulations

About the role

The FIA is looking for a Financial Controller to join its Financial Regulations team in Geneva. You will work closely with F1 Teams, performing audits, analysing financial submissions and helping to safeguard the integrity of Formula 1.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and audit financial submissions from F1 Teams to ensure compliance with FIA Financial Regulations.
• Conduct on‑site audits at team facilities in the UK, Italy, Switzerland and other European locations.
• Perform in‑depth financial reviews, including benchmarking, trend and ratio analysis, to identify risks and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with FIA financial advisors on ad‑hoc analyses and investigations of suspected breaches.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation, reporting tools and submission platforms.
• Help prepare and update guidance documents, training materials and submission instructions for F1 Teams.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of financial audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• Master’s degree in finance, business or accounting.
• Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards and accounting principles; consolidation experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to perform audit procedures independently.
• Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.
• Rigorous, integrity‑driven and comfortable working in an international, travel‑intensive environment.
