Financial Controller

About the role

Holle Baby Food, a leading organic infant nutrition company based in Basel, is seeking a Financial Controller to monitor, control and analyse the company’s financial performance and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and related business analyses.
• Analyse financial KPIs, variances and propose optimisation measures.
• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and pricing, margin and inventory analyses.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and conduct ad‑hoc profitability calculations.
• Prepare product costings and analyse profitability across product and customer segments.
• Collaborate with business units to provide data‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree or advanced qualification in business administration, finance, controlling or a comparable field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, business controlling or FP&A, preferably in an operational environment.
• Fluent in German and English; Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Very good Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI (advantageous).
• Comfort handling large data volumes and familiarity with ERP, reporting and BI systems.
