Financial Services Consultant - Transformation Execution Practice

About the role

EY's Business Consulting team advises clients in the Financial Services industry across Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets and Insurance. As a Consultant in the Transformation Execution Practice (80% - 100%), you will help clients navigate market and customer changes by supporting transformation initiatives, designing and delivering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Pursue business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector
• Work with stakeholders, business partners and multi-disciplinary teams to design solutions and improve business performance
• Present recommendations clearly and analytically to clients
• Apply and develop EY's global methodologies, frameworks, tools and accelerators for transformation
• Build skills through client experience and internal training
• Facilitate internal and external roundtables and thought leadership sessions
• Support go-to-market and business development initiatives

Required profile

• Excellent academic record from a leading university or university of applied sciences
• Experience in team-based projects, such as university projects or internships
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory; Swiss German and other languages are a plus
• Ideal candidates have initial consulting or Financial Services experience (internship, working student, entry-level)

• Strong presentation skills and a client-oriented attitude
• Ability to structure problems systematically
• Interest in TOM (target operating model) design, process improvement, Agile, Design Thinking and/or ESG is ideal
