Freelance Art Director (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Art Director to join our remote creative team in Switzerland. You will shape visually compelling, performance‑driven campaigns across social, digital, video, print and experiential channels.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design high‑impact creative campaigns for social media, digital ads, video, email, landing pages and other marketing touchpoints.
• Adapt assets for print, out‑of‑home, broadcast and other multimedia formats as required.
• Collaborate closely with Account Management and Project Management to align work with client objectives, timelines and deliverables.
• Generate innovative ideas and strategic creative solutions that enhance brand storytelling and audience engagement.
• Integrate AI‑powered tools into brainstorming, design exploration and production workflows where they add value.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while juggling multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Participate actively in feedback sessions, creative reviews and collaborative brainstorming.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of experience in an agency or fast‑paced creative environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social‑first, performance‑focused campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Strategic thinker with excellent visual storytelling abilities and a keen eye for design.
• Highly organised, able to manage several projects and revisions without compromising quality.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies, especially AI tools that support creative ideation and production.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (a plus).
• Solid understanding of digital design principles, branding and visual storytelling.
