Freelance IT Support Engineer – Level 2 Production Site

About the role

Everience is seeking a Freelance IT Support Engineer to join the on‑site IT team at a high‑end luxury textile production facility. You will provide Level 2 support to both production and office users, ensuring that the critical IT infrastructure remains reliable and responsive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 troubleshooting for workstations, peripherals, and manufacturing‑specific IT tools.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of hardware, manage configurations, and oversee the full lifecycle of devices and installed applications.
• Administer user profiles and access rights in line with security standards.
• Configure IT equipment for new projects and operational needs, and train new employees on relevant tools.
• Collaborate with the IT Manager to define tools, methods, and standards.
• Coordinate support activities with external partner teams.

Required profile

• Degree in IT (CFC), IT Technician diploma (ES) or equivalent.
• Approximately 3 years of experience as an IT Technician or User Support Specialist in a large international company (e.g., fashion, automotive, watchmaking).
• Strong knowledge of Windows workstation environments.
• Experience with mobile device management using Workspace ONE.
• Ability to work autonomously in an agile, multi‑topic environment.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and diplomatic communication style.
