Fullstack Software Engineer – Zurich (On-site)

About the role

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team in Zürich. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend and customer‑facing applications that power a fleet of robots, ensuring reliable telemetry streaming, mission dispatch, and live dashboards for operators and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer‑facing applications such as fleet dashboards, mission control, and quality reports.
• Create internal tools for engineers and operators, including session reviews, telemetry dashboards, and cloud‑based robot control.
• Own the backend services for robot telemetry ingestion, command APIs, and integration with third‑party customer systems.
• Improve cloud infrastructure by enhancing alerting, observability, staging environments, and deployment automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production software.
• Proficiency in a typed programming language such as Rust, C++ or Go.
• Experience designing APIs (gRPC or REST) with versioning and authentication.
• Full‑stack web development experience using TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g., SvelteKit).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and access control.
• Fluency with Linux environments, bash scripting, containers, systemd and networking.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating services: infrastructure‑as‑code, monitoring, debugging in production, and managing uptime and SLAs.
