Global CMO Clinical Packaging Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated professional to lead the global CMO clinical packaging site for Roche Diagnostics in Zug. The role starts between 15 September 2026 and 1 October 2026 and is initially planned for 11 months, with a possible extension based on project needs and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and oversee clinical drug labeling, packaging and device assembly production across a global network of contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs).
• Manage CMO project onboarding, communication, timelines and delivery performance to meet supply‑chain requirements while controlling cost and quality.
• Partner with Procurement to drive RFPs, negotiate supply agreements and select vendors.
• Support leadership in defining supply strategies, own budgeting for variable CMO project costs and submit forecasts.
• Define team scope, establish governance with upstream functions and track CMO team KPIs.
• Represent the CMO function in S&OP processes and ensure accurate master data handling in SAP.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in a technical, business or supply‑chain discipline (Master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, supply‑chain management or manufacturing.
• Strong background in clinical drug manufacturing, clinical supply‑chain or contract manufacturing management.
• Hands‑on experience with GMP environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English; basic German is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work global hours, including early mornings or late evenings as required.

• Proficient use of SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
