Global Manager – Inventories

About the role

AB InBev is seeking a Global Manager – Inventories to define, govern and continuously improve the company’s worldwide inventory strategy. Based at the global headquarters in Switzerland, you will balance service level, working capital and operational efficiency across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a global inventory strategy aligned with business objectives, customer service targets and financial goals.
• Lead the design and deployment of inventory planning models, including safety stock, cycle stock and buffer strategies.
• Partner with demand and supply planning teams to improve forecast‑to‑inventory integration and optimize inventory positioning across the network.
• Establish global KPIs, analyze drivers and root causes, and develop dashboards for executive decision‑making.
• Provide thought leadership to regional inventory teams and influence senior stakeholders to adopt common standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, supply chain planning or operations with global or regional scope.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in matrixed, global organizations and present to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in inventory planning concepts (safety stock, service levels, segmentation).
• Advanced analytical skills with large data sets and quantitative modeling.
• Proficiency with planning systems such as SAP, o9 or Blue Yonder.
• Data‑analysis tools: Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python.
