Head of Core Position Management & Client Reporting

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an experienced leader to drive the evolution of its Core Position Management and Portfolio Analysis (Temenos Triple A) and client reporting capability, which acts as the single source of truth for client positions, performance reporting and analytical insights across its digital ecosystem. As a Business Stream Lead within the Portfolio and Position Management Agile Release Train (ART), you will report to the Position and Portfolio Management lead within Digital Delivery and lead a cross-functional, global team of Product Owners, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior business delivery lead for core position management, aligning product, technology, design, data, risk and business functions
• Define and align the stream's strategic objectives so that the core banking strategy fits the future-state architecture
• Own and steer the stream's roadmap end-to-end, balancing business priorities, regulatory requirements, technical feasibility and time-to-value
• Deliver predictable, high-quality results with clear decision-making, risk management and escalation paths across governance boards
• Manage the stream's delivery budget and resource allocation, and report financial and progress information to the ART Lead
• Present the roadmap at senior governance levels and manage dependencies, risks and cross-functional coordination
• Lead and coach a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in agile roles in wealth management, asset management or investment operations, including at least 3 years as a delivery lead with personnel responsibility
• Experience delivering digital asset views and client reporting solutions in a private banking environment
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus

Required skills

• Profound understanding of portfolio analysis concepts used by Relationship Managers and clients, including position and portfolio valuation, performance measurement and transaction information
• In-depth knowledge of SAFe principles, DevOps practices and end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation programmes
• Experience managing distributed, global teams, including nearshore and offshore delivery models
• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution and coaching skills, with excellent verbal and written communication
