Head of Mobile Engineering (React Native)

About the role

LocalBini is seeking a Head of Mobile Engineering to lead the development of its React Native app, targeting a launch for the fall/Christmas season 2026. You will own the mobile product from concept to deployment, working closely with a cross‑functional team and a product designer.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with remote development teams and the Switzerland office to define the mobile solution.
• Build the React Native app from the current MVP, ensuring scalability and a high‑quality user experience.
• Integrate tracking tools to monitor user behavior and gather analytics.
• Produce technical documentation for the codebase and processes.
• Maintain and evolve the component library and design assets in Figma.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial mobile development experience, preferably in a lead role.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with React Native and related state‑management libraries.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving attitude.
• Willingness to work full‑time or part‑time, onsite in St. Gallen or remotely.
