Head of Operations (Robotics Deployments)

About the role

Loki Robotics builds, deploys and operates expert robots that automate commercial facility services. As Head of Operations in Zurich, you own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle: preparing, shipping, deploying, operating, servicing and improving robots in the field. The role is full-time (100%), on-site in Zurich, with an ASAP start date.

Key responsibilities

• Own deployment implementation: site assessments, customer kick-offs, on-site supervision, staff training, performance assessment and customer communication
• Run logistics for every deployment: fulfillment, shipping, import/export, compliance and coordination with the customer's receiving side
• Build and run the operations organization: SOPs, scheduling, allocating operator bandwidth, testing and internal data collection
• Work with testing engineers on release, performance and quality assurance testing, including reporting procedures and schedules
• Relay feedback from customers and field operations to product, GTM and R&D
• Identify and remove operations bottlenecks by creating new processes, hiring, restructuring or eliminating old ones
• Hire, onboard and lead the operations team, and train partner operators and distributors as the business expands

Required profile

• 5+ years in operations, field deployment, implementation or a comparable role combining management and execution-heavy tasks, with team management experience
• Experience building an operations function from the ground up at an early-stage company
• Experience deploying physical products at customer sites; robotics or facility services is a strong plus
• Ability to balance immediate priorities with the organization's needs over the coming months
• Hands-on approach, excellent English communication, and strong leadership and process-building skills
