Head of Partnerships and Pipeline Unit

About the role

The Head of Partnerships and Pipeline Unit will lead the Private Sector Partnerships Division within IOM’s Department of Strategy and External Engagement. Based in Geneva, the role is responsible for shaping and executing IOM’s private‑sector strategy, building high‑impact collaborations that support the organization’s migration objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement IOM’s Private Sector Strategy and partnership pipeline.
• Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with private‑sector entities.
• Provide expertise and support to Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices on partnership initiation and maintenance.
• Lead outreach, engagement and communication activities with private‑sector stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on partnership performance, ensuring alignment with IOM’s strategic priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development, business development or similar senior roles.
• Strong understanding of migration issues and the UN system.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, inclusive environment.
