Head of Strategy Deployment Division Europe

About the role

As the Head of Strategy Deployment Division Europe at Emmi, you will be based in Lucerne and work closely with the European leadership team to turn the company’s strategic and commercial priorities into measurable results across all European markets. The role involves regular travel (≈40%) and requires strong coordination with senior stakeholders, market teams and group functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage and continuously improve the divisional strategic planning and steering process in partnership with the EVP Europe.
• Translate strategic priorities into concrete initiatives, set clear milestones and track performance through transparent reporting.
• Lead execution of selected supply‑chain, sustainability and procurement projects, ensuring cross‑functional alignment.
• Act as the main interface between the division, individual markets and Group Functions to strengthen governance and consistent execution.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in strategy deployment, business steering or commercial/operational leadership, preferably in FMCG or a similarly complex international environment.
• Proven ability to convert strategic goals into executable initiatives and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured working style and experience in matrix organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leaders across functions and geographies.
• Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
