Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

Our client is an international automotive group experiencing strong growth and is expanding its operations in Switzerland. The HR Business Partner will support the organization by managing the full employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with Swiss labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment processes, from defining profiles to coordinating interviews, offers and hiring.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding activities, ensuring smooth integration and compliant terminations.
• Act as the trusted HR point of contact for managers, team leaders and employees on operational matters.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and internal guidelines.
• Ensure HR practices align with Swiss labour law and local employment requirements.
• Coordinate payroll activities with the external payroll provider.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, certificates and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR data and personnel documentation.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc HR reporting for the HR Director.
• Support continuous improvement of HR processes, tools and structures as the organization grows.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as a Junior HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or similar broad HR role.
• Hands‑on mentality with willingness to be directly involved in operational HR activities.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss labour law and local employment practices (advantage).
• Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, off‑boarding and termination processes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• High level of accuracy, discretion and professionalism handling sensitive matters.
• Pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset in a dynamic, growing environment.
• Fluent in German and English.
