Human Resources Manager – Geneva

About the role

Squarepoint is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its Geneva office. The role supports multiple European locations, works closely with senior leadership, and is part of the global HR team reporting to the EMEA CHRO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all people matters across France, Switzerland, Tunisia, Poland, Spain, Denmark and the Netherlands, ensuring compliance with local employment laws.
• Provide employee‑relations guidance to leaders, coach on handling issues, and mitigate risk.
• Oversee regional payroll processes in partnership with the global payroll team.
• Monitor legislative changes, update contracts and policies as required.
• Deliver HR metrics and reporting to inform engagement and turnover decisions.
• Collaborate with global HR functions (Payroll, L&D, Benefits, HRIS) on transformation projects, system implementations and process automation.
• Manage onboarding, off‑boarding, and immigration matters with external counsel.
• Lead a team of two HR professionals, fostering their development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eight years of HR experience, preferably in financial services.
• Demonstrated exposure to employment law in France and at least one other country within the scope.
• Strong analytical and solution‑focused problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to drive results in a fast‑paced environment with excellent prioritisation and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of French employment legislation and comparable regulations in other covered countries.
• Experience managing payroll processes and HR metrics.
• Proficiency in leading HR transformation initiatives and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
