About the role
The Human Resources Officer provides expert HR advice, supports recruitment and staff development, and contributes to policy and data‑driven decision making within the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
Key responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support to managers and staff, prepare reports and lead HR projects.
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment: identify vacancies, prepare announcements, review applications, conduct interviews and advise selection boards.
- Design and deliver staff development programmes, induction orientation and performance management support.
- Analyse HR data, produce visual reports and contribute to policy development.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree in HR management or related field, with at least five years of progressive HR experience.
- Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment and advising on HR policies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present data‑driven insights.
- Excellent communication in English; French is desirable.
