Humanoid Motion Generation Internship (Diffusion/Flow Matching)

About the role

Flexion is seeking a talented MS or PhD intern to advance humanoid robot perception and interaction. You will work at the intersection of generative whole‑body trajectory generation and 3D environment perception, using state‑of‑the‑art diffusion, flow‑matching, or auto‑regressive models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and experiment with generative models for whole‑body motion planning.
• Integrate trajectory generation pipelines with 3D perception and simulation environments.
• Implement and evaluate cutting‑edge research from recent literature.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Proven analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with autonomous research or projects in human motion generation, robotic imitation learning, or ego‑centric action prediction is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• PyTorch framework.
• Experience with diffusion models, flow matching, or learning‑based trajectory generation.
• Familiarity with generative modeling for time‑series data.
