IAM Engineer – Public Sector

About the role

As an IAM Engineer in the public sector team, you will design and implement modern digital identity solutions for government clients, contributing to impactful projects from day one while developing your expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams on diverse client projects.
• Plan, design, and implement modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Design and optimise processes and system architectures.
• Configure and integrate IAM components such as workflows, role models, web front‑ends, SSO, provisioning solutions and Web Application Firewalls.
• Automate testing, builds and deployment processes.
• Advise and support clients from technical implementation to architecture and security strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science (ETH/University of Applied Sciences/University).
• Good knowledge of Linux and experience with complex integration projects.
• Product knowledge in digital identity (e.g., OneIdentity) and target systems (Active Directory, MS Exchange, SAP, databases, LDAP, etc.).
• Experience with IAM concepts and standards (RBAC, ABAC, SSO, OIDC, OAuth, SAML, Federation) and related topics such as Zero Trust.
• Strong communication skills, responsibility, service‑oriented thinking, initiative and independence.
• Very good command of German and English.
• Willingness to undergo a Personal Security Screening for certain public‑sector projects.
