Insurance Consulting Consultant / Senior Consultant (P&C, Life, Health)

About the role

As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in Synpulse’s Insurance Advisory practice, you will help leading primary insurers (property & casualty, life, health) navigate complex transformation programmes. You will act as a trusted advisor, analysing strategic and operational challenges and delivering pragmatic, innovative solutions from strategy through to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support or lead end‑to‑end transformation projects for primary insurers, covering strategy, organisation, processes, systems and data.
• Analyse client challenges, develop solution concepts and drive implementation of digital tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams and maintain close client relationships.
• For senior consultants: manage workstreams independently, mentor junior colleagues and handle stakeholder management.

Required profile

• First‑class Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, natural sciences or a related field from a recognised university.
• Strong affinity for technology at the business‑IT intersection and solid understanding of digital solutions in insurance.
• Hands‑on, implementation‑oriented mindset with motivation to see initiatives through to rollout.
• Relevant experience in primary insurance (P&C, life or health) and excellent communication skills in German and English.
• For consultants: internship or entry‑level experience in consulting or insurance, strong analytical skills and confidence in client‑facing situations.
• For senior consultants: several years of consulting or insurance experience, proven ability to manage sub‑projects and mentor junior staff.
