Interaction Designer

About the role

As a Senior Interaction Designer at Sonova, you will shape the user experience across the hearing care ecosystem, bridging industrial and digital design. You will create seamless, enjoyable, and accessible interactions for hearing instruments, chargers, mobile apps, and software platforms, ensuring a consistent holistic experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a cohesive end‑to‑end UX/UI experience, aligning physical interactions with digital workflows across mobile apps and B2B/B2C solutions.
• Apply User‑Centered Design and Design Thinking from wireframes and storyboards to advanced interactive prototypes, mapping physical‑to‑digital customer journeys.
• Conduct ongoing user research and design validation to maintain a data‑informed, hypothesis‑driven approach.
• Contribute to design guidelines, metrics, and success criteria at the group level.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration across the Sonova ecosystem.
• Promote design quality, best practices, and a culture of craftsmanship within the team.

Required profile

• University degree in Interaction Design, Experience Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years designing end‑to‑end digital products for web and mobile (iOS/Android).
• Expertise in UX research and hypothesis‑driven, user‑centered methodologies.
• Advanced communication skills, able to collaborate across cross‑functional teams and mentor junior designers.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑informed decision‑making approach.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
