Interim HR Manager (6‑12 months) – Lausanne

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Manager for a 6‑to‑12‑month contract, with the possibility of a permanent position. Based in Lausanne, you will lead all HR functions for a staff of 75 plus consultants and service providers, ensuring a productive and engaged workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee life‑cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to off‑boarding and exits.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing and selection.
• Develop, monitor and update HR policies, strategies, systems and procedures.
• Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Assess training needs and run leadership development programmes for managers and team leads.
• Administer the performance appraisal system and drive high‑performance culture.
• Lead employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss (and Hungarian) labour law, taxes, social insurances and pensions.
• Maintain HR metrics, payroll coordination and attendance records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources; Swiss HR certification (Brevet Fédéral) required, Master’s preferred.
• 5‑7 years of HR experience, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR best practices.
• Fluent in English; Hungarian is a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships at all organisational levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Experience using HR metrics and analytics.
