Intern - Flow Cytometry Scientist

About the role

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, is looking for a Flow Cytometry Scientist Intern to join its Scientific Team in the Flow Cytometry Department at its Geneva site. The internship lasts 5 to 6 months, Monday to Friday, at 40 hours per week (an 80% schedule can be considered), and starts preferably in January 2026. It is a paid internship open to currently enrolled students.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the validation and optimization of flow cytometry protocols for small particle detection.
• Design and run experiments to evaluate assay performance, optimize sample preparation and acquisition parameters, and support the development of robust methods for detecting and characterizing small particles.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Biology; a Master's degree in Biology is preferred.
• Eligible for an internship agreement with a third party.
• Fluent in English; an intermediate level of French is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external colleagues and partners.
• 3 months or more of experience in flow cytometry is preferred.
